Advice About Bipolar Disorder

2

Do you have bipolar disorder, and are struggling to make sense of it? Do you have a friend or family member who has bipolar disorder, and you want advice, or want to understand why a loved one acts the way they do? These answers are never universal, and I am not a doctor, but I can share my hard-earned experience with you.

I have bipolar disorder type I. After a decade of struggling to get my condition under control, I've managed to achieve a good measure of stability. I lead a good life, have a stable job, and have good relationships with those around me. Getting here was not easy, and even now, I must always be vigilant about my moods and intrusive thoughts.

I can explain how intrusive, unwanted thoughts, and mixed moods can rule a bipolar patient's life. I can offer insight on rash choices, strange behaviors, and offer advice to families and friends. I can also offer my experiences to help guide fellow bipolar owls. I can also listen if you need to talk about your disorder.
