Wondering what it's like to work with a professional fiction editor?

I'll do a full pass on 1000 words from your manuscript. What does this mean?

It means I will edit that portion of your story the way I would if you were engaging me for a professional paid editorial review. This includes basics, of course, like word choice, passive verbs, adverbs, etc. But it will also include much more in depth comments, as much as I can with only 1000 words, about characterization, character motivation, effective action scenes, scene structure, and other things a content editor helps authors with.

This Service is meant to do a couple things for an author. First, give an idea of what it's like to work with a pro editor. Second, show where the strengths and weaknesses lie in the author's writing, at least in that piece.

Unless this is a very, very short work, I won't be able to add much about overall story structure or plot. But you will come away with an idea of what is working and what isn't and, most importantly, how to fix what isn't.

I will be putting a 3 deal/month limit on this Service. You can choose to engage the Service 3 times for up to 3,000 words (or as many as are still available when you create the deal :) ).
