I will assess your current accent and advice you as to what needs improvement so you can focus on certain exercises that I will give you. I believe in using music and film to assimilate a foreign language, so I promise it will be fun!
Training & Qualifications
I have a very good command of French, though I'm not a native (honestly, that's always preferable), but I'm an expert at teaching foreign languages and I know what works and what doesn't.
I have 25 years of experience, so many students have used my method successfully, as I have NEVER used a book to follow during instruction. My theories have been proven and have become the new standard vs. the communicative approach, which was the prevalent one until recently, and with which I did not agree at all.
I have studied French for years, and it is very close to my native language (Catalan.) I have lived in Brussels, Belgium, for four years and helped my two youngest daughters with homework (a great way to learn yourself!), as they attended a French speaking school. I also worked and volunteered while living there, so I got all the practice I wanted!
